Norka Department Project for Returned Emigrants (NDPREM) scheme offers a returnee, who had been an expat and wishes to set up a business in Kerala, a capital subsidy and interest subsidy for his investment.
Benefits of Norka Department Project for Returned Emigrants [Edit] [Edit]

Capital subsidy of 15% of the project cost, subject to a maximum of Rs. 20 lakhs ( Maximum of INR 3 lakh)

Interest subsidy of 3% for the first 4 years, to those beneficiaries who are regular in payment. In case of default, the benefit can be availed only if the beneficiaries clear off his/her dues.

NORKA ROOTS also conducts orientation and training camps before screening and selection to boost the managerial capabilities of the entrepreneurs.
