How to generate Aadhaar eKYC Offline ?

Follow the below steps to generate Aadhaar eKYC offline.

Step 1: Click on https://resident.uidai.gov.in/offline-kyc

Step 2: Enter 12 Digit Aadhaar Number or 16 digits Virtual ID

Step 3: Enter Security code as shown on the screen

Step 4: Click on the button "Send OTP" Note: To receive the OTP as an automatic call to the Aadhaar-linked mobile number, press the "Enter TOTP" button.

Step 5: Enter a 4 character below the buttons Note: Share the code according to your preferences, and the OTP will be sent to the registered mobile phone.

Step 6: Click on "Download" to get the Offline KYC file. Note: The password to open the downloaded file will be the Share Code entered in Step 5.

Step 7: In the ‘Download' folder, the file is immediately downloaded. You can save it to your Desktop or some other folder.

Service providers or organizations, will be able to verify your information. They'll be able to see the following information while installing or receiving offline e-KYC data from the XML:

  • Name of the Resident

  • Download the Reference Number

  • Address

  • Photo

  • Date of Birth or Year of Birth

  • Gender

  • Mobile Number in hashed form

  • Email Address in hashed form
