Yes, Eaadhar is valid in many government organization like Railways, Banks, Pan card application and many more.

The E- Aadhar or electronic Aadhar card is totally valid. The official portal of the UIDAI which is https://uidai.gov.in and click the Download Aadhar Card Online option anytime to download an electronic version of the Aadhar.
It will be as valid as the Aadhar you receive via post and will act as an identity proof as well.

But unable to set username on the next page of signup process. Says something went wrong. When tried to login using the aadhar or registered number and pin it says invalid aadhar/mobile number or invalid pin. Not a straightforward process in digilocker please resolve this issue
