I have a wet land of 30 cents. Got KLU for 10 cents in 2008. Now after removing from databank we are going to apply for remaining 20 cents in Form 6. As per instruction a surveyor ( a retired village officer) came to our land for surveying & other formalities. He said the klu for 10 cents have been expired since no activity for long time. So we have to apply for whole 30 cents. Fair value is 1 lakh. So huge amount we will have to pay. Is this true ? Klu ever expires? Is klu given against owner's name, so will it expire once we sell the land? Also how much fee do we have to pay?
