Caste Certificate is an official statement provided to the citizen by the state government confirming his/her caste.

Documents Required to get Caste Certificate in Goa

Following documents are required to apply online for Caste Certificate in Goa.

  • Birth Certificate of the applicant. [Self attested]

  • Birth Certificate of applicant's father or any relatives from father's side. [Self attested]

  • Applicant's school Leaving Certificate and Bonafide Certificate issued by school authorities. [Self attested]

  • Documents showing that applicant's father or grandfather belong to SC/ST notified by Government. [Self attested]

  • Documents showing that applicant / applicant's family was residing in Goa prior to 19/02/1968 [For SC/ST]. [Self attested]

  • Self declaration.

  • Samaj Certificate. [Self attested]

  • Talathi's report along with report of the concerned Mamlatdar (Original)

  • Marriage Certificate incase of married woman. [Self attested]

  • Aadhaar card / Voter's card (if any). [Self attested]

  • Documents showing that applicant's father or grandfather belong to OBC notified by Government. [Self attested]

  • Documents showing that applicant / applicant's father was residing in Goa prior to 19/02/1968 [For OBC]. [Self attested]

  • Income Certificate issued by the competent authority for preceding 3 years. (Village Panchayat / Municipality / C.C.P.)

How to apply online for Caste Certificate in Goa?

Follow the below steps to apply online for Caste Certificate in Goa.

First, you need to register on the Goa Online portal.

  • Open Goa Online portal

  • Click on Register option in menu bar to register.

  • Enter your Email ID and Mobile number and click on Generate OTP.

  • Once the Email ID and mobile number is entered, the OTP will be sent for the verification on the given mobile number.

  • Once the OTP is verified enter Name as per Aadhar , Aadhar Number/ Virtual ID, click on I agree checkbox and click on Validate.

  • Aadhar No. once validated cannot be updated. Click on OK to proceed further

  • Enter desired username and set the password.

  • Reenter the password and captcha code and click on Register/sign up button.

Once you have registered, you can apply online for water connection in Goa.

  • Login to Goa online portal.

  • Enter Username and password and click on Login

  • Once the user is logged into the system, go to services and click on All services

  • Fill in the application form

  • Attach relevant documents

  • Submit the application and note the acknowledgement no. for application tracking.

It will take 10 days to get Caste Certificate in Goa after the application.
