In Karnataka, one need not submit affidavit to pay property tax. you need to apply for property ID, once you have property ID, you can pay property tax on the municipality website.

For example : in Bangalore, one can pay property in BBMP website. 

To obtain the property ID, you need to submit gift deed and latest encumbrance certificate to your ward office, along with file property tax. 

You should have property ID in 30 working days from the day of application.
