I have brought my non-KA vehicle to Bangalore on July 2016. Now NOC is expired and I don't have original invoice. What is the penalty if police catch me? How to pay road tax in Banglore without NOC?

Penalty
As per the Karnataka Motor Vehicle Act 1957, if you bring your vehicle from home state to Bangalore, you need to get it re-registered and pay lifetime tax within 11 months from the date of arrival into Karnataka State.
After this period, you may get penalized for not paying the road tax (or Life Time Tax). In some cases, your vehicle papers might get seized if you are caught driving a vehicle without paying Road Tax.
If you have not applied for re-registration even after 11 months of entering Bangalore city, you will be penalized as per the rule under Section 44 and Section 177 of the Motor Vehicle Act. As per the rule, failure to register the vehicle for more than 11 months, can lead to penalty of Rs 100 for the first offense and Rs 300 for the second and any subsequent offences. This is in addition to the tax that needs to have been paid from the vehicle’s time of entry, along with interest.
