The KSFE is devising a scheme to buy laptops through Kudumbashree. With an aim to help parents to purchase laptop for their children to attend the online classes, Kudumbashree and KSFE will join hands to launch a micro chitty scheme. Under the chitty scheme, 2 lakh laptops will be distributed within 3 months.

Laptops under Rs 15,000 will be distributed through the chitty scheme.

The micro chitty scheme of Rs 15,000 will be undertaken by KSFE for Kudumbashree. Beneficiaries of the scheme must pay a monthly installment of Rs 500 for 30 months. 

KSFE will distribute the fund needed to purchase a laptop on the third month of joining the chitty. IT department will issue a tender via Kudumbashree to select the laptop distributors. Once the chitty completes the maturity period, the amount spent on the laptop will be deducted from it and the balance amount will be given to the beneficiary. Kudumbashree unit which adds beneficiaries to the scheme will get 2 percent commission of each installment.

കോവിഡ് പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളുടെ പഠനം കൂടുതല്‍ ഫലപ്രദമാക്കുന്നതിനായി കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് ലാപ്‌ടോപ് വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്ന പദ്ധതി കെഎസ്എഫ്ഇ മുഖേന ആരംഭിക്കും.

15,000 രൂപ ചിട്ടിത്തുകയും 500 രൂപ മാസ അടവുമുള്ള 30 മാസത്തെ സമ്പാദ്യ പദ്ധതി ഇതിനായി കെഎസ്എഫ്ഇ ആരംഭിക്കും . പദ്ധതിയില്‍ ചേര്‍ന്ന് മൂന്ന് മാസം തവണകള്‍ അടക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് 15,000 രൂപ പരമാവധി വിലയുള്ള ലാപ്‌ടോപ് കെഎസ്എഫ്ഇ മുഖേന വായ്പയായി നല്‍കും. വായ്പയുടെ പലിശ നാല് ശതമാനം കെഎസ്എഫ്ഇയും അഞ്ച് ശതമാനം സര്‍ക്കാറും വഹിക്കുമെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഈ പദ്ധതി വഴി ലാപ്‌ടോപ് വാങ്ങുന്ന കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് വിവിധ വകുപ്പുകളുടെയും സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഏജന്‍സികളുടെയും സന്നദ്ധ സംഘടനകളുടെയും സബ്‌സിഡി ലഭ്യമാകുകയും ചെയ്യും.
