eAadhaar (downloaded Aadhaar) from UIDAI website is legally as valid as the original Aadhaar issued by UIDAI. Both should be accepted by all Agencies. In fact, downloaded Aadhaar has updated address, etc., of the Aadhaar holder and therefore should be preferred. If anyone refuses to accept downloaded Aadhaar, the Aadhaar holder may lodge complaint with higher authorities of those departments/agencies.
