I have shifted recently to Mizoram from my home state where I was registered as a voter. How can I get a new Voter ID Card at Mizoram?

To transfer your Voter ID card from your home state to Mizoram, you need to use Form 8.

Follow the below steps to update your address with a new address which is outside of your existing constituency. 

  • Login to Voters Service Portal

  • Click on Form - 8 (Shifting of residence/Correction of entries in existing electoral roll/Replacement of EPIC/Marking of PwD)

  • Choose whether you are applying for yourself or for others.

  • Verify Part number and Serial number.

  • Select ‘Shifting of Residency’.

  • Choose ‘Outside Assembly Constituency’

  • Mention your new address. 

  • Upload any one of the required documents for address proof.

  • Fill the ‘Declaration’ form and enter the captcha. 

  • Click on Preview and Submit.
