Below is the step-by-step procedure to notarize a POA in India, for selling a car in USA.

Step 1: Get POA draft from your advocate or car dealer from USA or download it from internet.

Step 2: Fill the draft with your relevant details. A filled draft looks like the below image

Step 3: An executant (you) should carry the following document to notary near you in India.

  • Filled POA

  • Passport for notary verification

Step 4: Notary reads the POA and verifies the supporting documents.

Executant (you) signs on all pages of POA in front of notary.
