The deputy commissioner (land acquisition) will assign this work to the concerned land acquisition officers.

The concerned land acquisition officer will assign the job of the verification of land acquisition details, in respect of intended land, to the case worker.

After obtaining the land acquisition details the application will be referred to the surveyor for preparation of sketch of the intended land based on the khata details and land acquisition details.

The land acquisition officer with all the above information will place before the deputy commissioner (land acquisition) for forwarding to the town planning section.

The deputy director of town planning after receiving information from land acquisition department, initiates further processing if there is no acquisition of the applicant land; else the application will be rejected.

Further the deputy director will verify the compliance of zonal regulations and master plan and prepares a proposal for change of land use and places before joint director of town planning.

The joint director will verify the proposal, and inturn with his recommendations, places it before town planner member for his opinion.

The town planner member with his recommendations sends the application to the commissioner for his approval.

The town planner will prepare an endorsement, to be issued to the applicant, indicating to pay the applicable fee.

The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee at designated banks and submit the proof for having paid the fee to the designated officer.

The application is further referred to the finance department for verification of receipt of the prescribed fee paid by the applicant for the service.
