വിവാഹ രജിസ്ട്രേഷനുവേണ്ടി തദ്ദേശ ഭരണ സ്ഥാപനത്തിൽ സമർപ്പിക്കുന്ന മെമ്മോറാണ്ടത്തിലാണ് വിവാഹത്തിന് സാക്ഷികളായിട്ടുള്ളവരിൽ രണ്ടുപേർ ഒപ്പിടേണ്ടത്. അവർ മാതാപിതാക്കളോ ബന്ധുക്കളോ ആകുന്നതിൽ തടസ്സം ഇല്ല.
