Eligibility Criteria for Pre-Matric Scholarship

• The applicant should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh

• Annual Income from all sources must not exceed more than Rs. 1,00,000.

Eligibility Criteria for Post- Matric Scholarship

• The applicant should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh

• Annual Income from all sources for OBC, Minority and General category must not exceed more than Rs. 2,00,000.

• Annual Income from all sources for SC/ST Category must not exceed more than Rs. 2,50,000.

Eligibility Criteria for Post- Matric Scholarship Other than Inter

• The applicants in the graduate, post-graduation, Ph.D. or higher levels under SC/ST/General category are eligible to apply for the schemes.

• Annual Income from all sources for OBC, Minority and General category must not exceed more than Rs. 2,00,000.

• Annual Income from all sources for SC/ST Category must not exceed more than Rs. 2,50,000.

How to Register for UP Scholarships for Students?

Follow the below steps to register for UP Scholarships.

• Visit the UP Scholarship Portal.

• Click on ‘Registration’ under ‘Student’.

• You can register under three categories according to your category.

• For SC/ST General Category

• For OBC Category

• For Minority Category

• Select the type of application.

• Prematric

• Post Matric

• Postmatric other than Intermediate

• Post Matric other state

• An application form will open on your screen.

• Fill in all the required details.

• Click on ‘Generate OTP’.

• An OTP will be sent on the entered mobile number. Enter the OTP.

• Click on ‘Proceed’.

• You will receive a registration number. 

• You can login using the registration number and password.
