Components of UP Land Documents

UP land documents contains the following components.

Khatauni : Khatauni is a hindi term that refers to a land revenue record document. It contains important information about land ownership, land area, and land type, and is used primarily in rural areas of India to establish and verify land ownership and related details. Khatauni records are often used for taxation and land administration purposes.

Khasra : A Khasra number is like a unique number given to a specific piece of land in a village. It helps keep track of who owns the land and how big it is. This number is recorded in a document called the "Khasra Khatauni," which has information about land ownership, land size, and other important details. 

Khewat : This is a type of account number given to a family, to record landholdings of all the family members.

Jamabandi Naqal : This is a document that has all the information related to the owners, cultivators, location, size, patta number, type of crop grown and khasra number.

How to Download Khatauni from UP Bhulekh ?

Follow the below steps to get a copy of land records (Khatauni) in Uttar Pradesh:

• Visit the Bhulekh UP website. 

• Click on the option "Khatauni (Adhikar Abhilek) ki Nakal Dheke" / Khatauni (Record of Rights) Copy.

• Fill in the CAPTCHA correctly.

• Select your District.

• Select your Tehsil (Sub-District).

• To select your village, click on the first letter of your village name using the Hindi keyboard provided on the side. The villages starting with that letter will appear. Choose your village.

• Enter the Gata (plot) number and click on "View Details."

• Alternatively, you can search by account (Khata) number. Click on "Search by Account Number," and a list of all account numbers will appear. Click on your account number.

• To search by the account holder's name, click on the first letter of the name using the Hindi keyboard. Names starting with that letter will appear. Click on your name, and then click on "View Details."

• Click on the option "Khatauni (Amsh Nirdharan) ki Nakal Dheke'/ Khatauni (Partial Determination) Copy.

• Select your District (Janpad).

• Select your Tehsil (Sub-District).

• Enter your gata (plot) number and click on "View Dispute Status" for your plot.
