Q: The RoR stand'; in my father's/ mother's name. Father/ Mother is dead. How can I mak e the RoR in my name?

Tahsildar will correct the RoR under Rule 34(a) under OS&S Rules, 1964.

Q: My name is misspelt in RoR. How can I correct it? Illustration:-"My name is Ram Behera. It is written as Dam Behera in RoR and all other information of the RoR remains the same”.

Tahsildar can correct it under rule 34(a) of OS&S Rules, 1964.

Q: The HAL RoR is in Government khata. I have got patta prior to settlement in Sabik. To whom I should apply?

You have to apply to the Board of Revenue under Rule 15(b) of OS&S Act, 1958 for filing Revision Case to correct the RoR. The Government has notified other Revisional Courts to carry out the functions of powers of BoR.

Q: I want to apply caste, income, residence certificate. To whom I should apply ?

You will apply in CSC to Tahsildar through e-district portal.

Q: I have a Bebandobasta RoR in my name. To whom I should apply?

You should apply before the Tahsildar. Government has given detail Circular vide letter No. 3776 dated 02.02.2017 for disposal of Bebandobasta cases.

Q: I want my plot to be demarcated. How can I apply and to whom?     

You will apply before the Tahsildar. Government has given guideline vide letter no SM-2016/38869 dated 13.12.2016

Q: In my area, I want to convert my agricultural land to non- agricultural purpose. To whom I will apply?            

You will apply before the Tahsildar under section 8-A of OLR Act. The Government has fixed rates of conversion area wise.

Q: I am a homesteadless/ landless person. How to get Govt. land and to whom I should apply?

You have to apply to Tahsildar in a prescribed Form-I of Rule-5 of OGLS Rules, 1983. Tahsildar will forward it under Rule-5 (6) to the Sub-Collector.

Q: I am residing outside Odisha. Can I register my property outside Odisha? If I go to Odisha can I do online registration why going to Sub Registrar Office

No, you can't register your property which exists in Odisha in any Sub- Register office outside Odisha. You have to visit the concerned Sub-Register Office where your property is located.

Q: I am going to sell/ register property. I am carrying cash for Registration. What amount I should carry & to whom I should deposit?              

No need of carrying cash. It can be paid through DD, Cheque, RTGS to the concerned Sub-Register. Government has allowed cashless transaction beyond Rs. 10,000/.Transaction upto Rs. 10,000/- is permissible.

Q: I want to sell my property. What is the consideration value? What should be the Stamp Duty & Registration Fees?

It is available in the IGR site www.igrodisha.gov.in. The benchmark value of each plot is mentioned

including the stamp duty and registration fees.

Q: I want to construct a house. Where should I get construction materials i.e. Sand & Chips?    

You can contact Tahsildar to know the person who has got the lease of Sairat Sources.

Q: I am a S.T. person and residing in forest area. I have got FRA patta. How can I demarcate and whom I will contact?              

You have to contact the Tahsildar. Local R.I./Amin will demarcate the area.

Q: I am a S.T. person/other traditional Forest dweller residing in the forest area. Whom should I contact to get patta?

You can contact Tahsildar, sub- collector, DWO for getting FRA patta.
