Yes. If any one need thier passport urgently it is better to submitt in psk and do not go to popsk (post office passport seva kendra). Because the application which is submitted in POPsK were not granted untill the Police verification is done. The POPSK officials are not given power of GO (granting officer ) they are only having power of VO ( verification officers ) so in your case it may be delay in submitting the verification file by concerned district police officials to RPO. So my suggestion is if it is possible it is better to visit the District SP office or Police commissioner office in your city and make sure that verification file sent by them or not. If they had sent you can send a grievances which is available in the pasaport office website.
