Kindly note that, below are the categories exempted from subscription under this insurance scheme:

  1. Investors (Business owners)
  2. Temporary/ Contractual Workers (working on temporary work permits)
  3. Juveniles (under the age of 18 years)
  4. Pensioners & retirees
  5. Domestic Workers

Kindly note that if you are one of the below categories, the ILOE is not mandatory for you:

  • Investors (owners of companies they work at)
  • Domestic helpers
  • Temporary-contract workers
  • Juveniles under the age of 18
  • UAE Locals who have fulfilled the conditions for referral to retirement or Retirees who are entitled to a pension and joined a new job
