How to apply online for a Marriage Certificate in Uttar Pradesh?

Follow these steps to apply for a Marriage Certificate in Uttar Pradesh:

• Visit the Stamp and Registration website. 

• On the homepage, click on ‘Aavedan/Apply’ under Vivah Panjikaran/ ‘Marriage Registration’.

• Click on the ‘Fill new application form/ Naya Upyog Karta Banaye’ option.

• A form of this format will open on your screen. 

• Fill in all the information carefully about the bride and groom and about the marriage location.

• Upload all the necessary documents

• Save and Review the form. 

• After the form is submitted, you will receive an application number and password. 

• Using the application number and password, pay the application fees through the desired payment mode.

Note: 

• After filling out the application form, on any working day, visit the relevant sub-registrar office with original copies of all your documents and the application number for marriage registration.

• For changing the marriage registration office: After selecting the marriage registration office and securing it, you can change it only once. To change the office, log in with your application number and password.

• Uploading photos and other documents is not mandatory. This can be done at the registration office.

How to verify Marriage Certificate in Uttar Pradesh?

• Visit the Stamp and Registration website. 

• On the homepage, click on ‘Marriage Registration Verification/ Vivah Panjikaran Satyapan’ under ‘Marriage Registration/ Vivah Panjikaran’.

• Enter your Certificate Serial Number or application number and date of marriage

• Enter the captcha. 

Fees Required to get Marriage Certificate in Uttar Pradesh

1. User charges – Rs 15/- (Fixed)

2. Service Fee – Rs 50/- per year (duration will be calculated from the date of marriage till the applying for marriage certificate)
