How to apply for correction of existing building violations in Dubai?

This service enables you to apply for site visit to ensure correction of existing building violations, in order to get approval for reconnecting electricity service or release suspended transactions in the concerned departments. It also enables you to apply for grace period for correcting violations.

Documents Required

1. Authorization letter to confirm applicant permission in case of the applicant is not the owner.

How to apply for correction of existing building violations in Dubai?

Inspection for Correction of existing Building Violations:

• Login to Dubai Municipality website or Mobile App (BPS) or scan (QR Code) in the notice or follow the link in the SMS sent to the offender.

• Apply for the service, fill your electronic application.

• Receive Dubai Municipality reply(Approved/ returned for more details / rejected) with your site visit appointment by SMS & E-mail .

• Meet DM Engineer on site on specified date.

• Receive the site inspection results (approved or rejected with reasons) by SMS & E-mail or through the application tracking.

Request to obtain grace period to remove building violations: 

• Login to Dubai Municipality website or Mobile App (BPS)  or scan (QR Code) in the notice or follow the link in the SMS sent to the offender.

• Apply for the service, fill your electronic application.

• Receive Dubai Municipality reply (Approved/ returned for more details / rejected)  by SMS & E-mail.

• Receive confirmation for your new violation grace period by SMS & E-mail or through the application tracking.

Terms & Conditions

• You must correct all building violations and pay the financial dues, if any, in advance, before applying for the service and pay all financial dues (if any).

• The violator or authorized person must apply for the service (owner or authorized person) or tenant.

• All submitted applications include your acknowledgment and undertaking to abide by the Municipality's instructions and not to commit any building violations or usages on the land.
