Sapthaha is celebration of Government of Karnataka’s citizen service delivery mechanism.
The main purpose of Sakala Sapthaha is to reduce the pendency, to check the genuineness of rejections, to reduce the Zero receipt Offices, create awareness among citizens and to motivate & sensitize officials.
Details about Sakala Sapthaha organized in the year 2020: Sakala Mission in co-ordination with various departments decided to celebrate Sakala Sapthaha in 3 phases.
First Phase was celebrated from 30 November 2020 to 5 December 2020, which involved 4 major departments - Revenue Department, Transport Department, Urban Development Department, & Food, Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs and Legal Metrology Department.
Second Phase of Sapthaha featured Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Department. Second Phase was celebrated from 7 December 2020 to 11 December 2020. Third phase covered the remaining 28 major departments.
Third phase of Sapthaha was celebrated from 14 December to 19 December 2020. The 3 phases of Sakala Sapthaha covered all the departments/institutions notified in Sakala.
During all the three phases inspection teams visited different designated offices across the State of Karnataka.
