How to get Khata Extract from BBMP for already processed kathas for which data is not available in electronic media?

BBMP may not add the date for already processed Khata. You should reapply for Khata. Let me give my experience for the same situation you are facing now.

I applied for my 1st khata on 4th April 2016. Below is the image of the payment receipt, khata certificate, and extract.

In the below Khata, date is not mentioned. We encircled for your reference.

Now I want to sell my flat. We found the buyer and submitted the photocopy of documents to buyer’s bank for verification. Including above khata certificate and extract

The bank has rejected my khata certificate and extract, as the date was not mentioned in both my khata certificate and extract.

We approached the BBMP office to incorporate the date in my old Khata certificate and extract but BBMP refused to incorporate the information in old document, instead BBMP official suggested us to apply for new Khata extract (reapplication).

Following are the documents require for reapplication

• Photocopy of old khata certificate and extract (refer above images)
• Tax paid receipt of current financial year (Shared the image below)
• Requisition letter (shared the mock below for your reference)

BBMP officials may demand nominal fee, in my case Rs. 2K.

Your khata certificate and extract should be ready within 15 days from the day of submitting the above document and required fee.

Below images are my new khata certificate and extract which I received on 10th Nov 2021. Dates are incorporated in my new khata certificate & extract and encircled below image for your reference.

This completes the process.
