ഗസറ്റിൽ പരസ്യപ്പെടുത്തി പേര്  മാറ്റിക്കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ നിലവിലുള്ള റെക്കോഡുകളിൽ അതനുസരിച്ച് മാറ്റം വരുത്തേണ്ടതില്ല. പല റെക്കോർഡുകളിലും മാറ്റം അനുവദിക്കാറില്ല. പഴയ റെക്കോഡിനൊപ്പം ഗസറ്റ് പരസ്യത്തിന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യപ്പെടുത്തിയ പകർപ്പ് നൽകിയാൽ മതിയാവും. ജനന രജിസ്റ്ററിൽ ഗസറ്റ് പരസ്യത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ പേര് മാറ്റി നൽകുകയില്ല. എന്നാൽ ഗസറ്റ് പരസ്യം വഴി മാറ്റിയ പേര് alias ചേർത്ത് ജനന സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് നൽകും. ഉദാഹരണമായി Vareeth എന്നയാളുടെ പേര് ഗസറ്റിൽ പരസ്യപ്പെടുത്തി Varghese എന്ന് മാറ്റിയിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ജനന സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റിൽ കുട്ടിയുടെ പേര് Vareeth alias Varghese എന്ന് ചേർത്ത് ലഭിക്കും. ആധാറിൽ ചേർത്തിട്ടുള്ള എല്ലാ വിവരങ്ങളും തിരുത്തുവാൻ കഴിയുന്നതാണ്. അടുത്തുള്ള ആധാർ എൻറോൾമെൻറ് സെന്ററിൽ ആവശ്യമായ രേഖകൾ സഹിതം സമീപിക്കുക.
