Praja Palana Scheme Telangana

Praja Palana or Abhayasthaam scheme by the Government of Telangana consists of 6 schemes as follows. 

1. Mahalakshmi scheme

2. Rythu Bharosa scheme

3. Gruha Jyothi scheme

4. Indiramma Indlu scheme

5. Cheyutha scheme

6. Yuva Vikasam scheme

There was a single application for five schemes — Mahalakshmi, Rythu Bharosa, Gruha Jyothi, Indiramma Indlu and Cheyutha. Application for  ‘Yuva Vikasam’ scheme will be received from the aspirants in educational institutions.

Mahalakshmi Scheme

Under the ‘Mahalakshmi’ scheme every woman will get financial assistance of Rs. 2,500 per month and cooking gas cylinder at Rs. 500.

Rythu Bharosa Scheme

In the Rythu Bharosa scheme (earlier known as Rythu Bandhu) every farmer is promised Rs. 15,000 per acre in two agricultural seasons every year while the agricultural labourers have also been assured Rs. 12,000 per annum.

Indiramma Indlu Scheme

Under the ‘Indiramma Indlu’ scheme, financial assistance would be provided to those who don’t own homes for the construction of houses. There is also a promise of 250 square yards of house sites for the families of Telangana martyrs and those who participated in the Telangana movement. 

Gruha Jyothi Scheme

200 units of free electricity will also be provided every month under Gruha Jyothi scheme.

Cheyutha Scheme

Enhancement of monthly pension to Rs. 4,000 was promised to beneficiaries under various categories like old age, widows, single women while the physically challenged would get Rs. 6,000 every month under Cheyutha scheme.

Yuva Vikasam Scheme

Under the ‘Yuva Vikasam’ scheme, a ‘Vidya Bharosa’ Card worth Rs. 5 lakh each for students and Telangana international schools in all mandal headquarters.

• Visit Praja Palana Website.

• Click on Know Your Application Status. If you can't see it, navigate to this link.

• Enter your Application Number. You can find the application number in the acknowledgment received after submitting the Praja Palana application.

• Click on "View Status".
