Whether siblings/children of 18 years or above will be counted under the definition of family for EWS reservation?

No. The term “Family” will include the person who seeks benefit of reservation, his/her parents and siblings below the age of 18 years, as also his/her spouse and children below the age of 18 years. Therefore, siblings/children of 18 years and above will not be counted under the definition of “Family” for applying to Income and Asset Certificate.
