I have registered GST for my proprietor company. Legal name is ABC and trade name is XYZ. The bank account is in the name of ABC. Can i request payer to give me cheque in the name of ABC? Or cheque will it be in the name of XYZ only?

If you are registered with GST I would request you to get your bank cheque with the trade name as per GST as you can take amount by the your name too but as GST ask to upload bank cancelled cheque of current account so at that time you need to open current account better you take all your payments in GST current account for better accounting.
