I am from Ladakh. Will I get a Domicile certificate as I have been staying here for 15 years ?

You have a good chance of getting a domicile certificate as you have stayed in J&K for 15 years.

You have to submit any of the documents such as ration card, immovable property records, educational records, electricity utility bills, labor card or employer certificate verified by the Deputy Labour Commissioner or the Director Industries and Commerce of the concerned division or any other document of proof of residence.

  • Already Registered Citizen can avail the Service Using Login ID and Password generated after Citizen Registration.
  • Login to the portal by providing the user name and password. Select the role type Citizen while logging in.
  • Click on E-services on the left side.
  • In the list of departments , select General Administration Dept and then click on Application for Domicile Certificate.
