FVR submitted in Voter Id meaning?

When you apply for Voter ID, your Booth Level Officer (BLO) will get a message regarding submission of your application.

The BLO visit the applicant's home to take the report and submit the report to the Election Commission. They might also take details of you without your knowledge from people in your locality as well.

This process is called field verification.

Now the Booth Level Officer sends a report to the Election Commission. This is Field Verification Report (FVR). If the report is favourable, then Election Commission approves it and your name will come in Voter List and you will get Voter ID.

If report is not favorable, your application will be rejected.
