Yes, but without the full EIN of the W-2 you cannot e-file the return. If you are using tax software you can make up numbers for the EIN but you'll have to print and mail in the tax return - if you do, don't forget to sign & date the Form 1040.

You can try calling IRS to request an Unmasked Wage and Income transcript for preparation, or you can try to make an appointment to get an Unmasked transcript in person.

FYI it's possible that IRS customer service will be limited or unavailable after Oct 1st if the government shuts down. So if you want to get the unmasked transcript try calling ASAP.
