For Pioneers:

  • Have achieved global recognition due to exceptional creative work.

  • Hold an internationally recognized award in a creative field.

  • Have been nominated for an internationally recognized award in a creative field.

  • Have earned a certificate of appreciation from an internationally recognized entity in a creative field.

  • Hold an honorary position from an internationally recognized entity due to his/her achievements in a creative field.

For Top Talents:

  • Have achieved local or regional recognition due to exceptional creative work.

  • Earned a certificate of appreciation from a locally or regionally recognized entity in a creative field.

  • Have a nomination certificate for a well-known local or regional award in a creative field.

  • Hold an honorary position from a locally or regionally recognized entity due to his/her achievements in a creative field.

For Distinguished Professionals:

  • A professional with distinctive work in a creative and intellectual field.

  • Have a minimum of five-years professional work experience in an intellectual and creative field.

  • Have creative work that has been published or distributed locally, regionally, or internationally within the last three years.

  • Have creative work that has achieved recognition from the creative community.

  • Have worked with well-known and reputable entities locally, regionally, or internationally (i.e., festivals, forums, exhibitions etc.).

  • Has received attention for his/her creative work from critics, media, or specialized entities.

  • Hold an active membership in a reputable international art organization or association.

Documents Required to apply for Abu Dhabi Golden Visa for Creatives in Arts & Culture

To apply for the Brilliant Talents category, you will need to provide: 

  • A portfolio/CV showing experience and achievements in the field of specialization.

  • Samples of creative work or evidence showing experience and achievements in a field of specialization.

  • Evidence of ten or more years of experience in a field of specialization.

  • Evidence of having carried out creative/cultural activities that have been noted by critics, the media, Government or private institutions (either in the UAE or internationally).

  • Evidence of having sponsorship or a grant in a field of specialization.

  • Evidence of having obtained an artistic, creative, or cultural award / recognition / accreditation received from an accredited or recognized body.

  • Evidence of having produced artistic works that have been distributed locally or internationally.

  • Evidence of membership in an international or well-known organization or association in a field of specialization.

  • A recommendation letter from the Ministry of Culture and Youth or Abu Dhabi Department of Culture & Tourism.
