In case someone fails to deposit the minimum amount (Rs 250) in a year then a penalty of Rs 50 will be applied.
The deposit to this account is done in every month. The minimum deposited amount will be 250 and the maximum amount is 1.5 lakh. The interest rate is 8.5% and the interest is compounded annually.
