No, it's best that you ignore whatever it says. Paying attention to it is only setting yourself up for disappointment. The way the countdown works is simple: each case is assigned a target completion date based on average processing times. The countdown is the difference between today's date and the target date. It isn't based on whether work is actually being performed on your case.
