I received an email from USCIS saying they've "taken action" on my case, but I don't see anything new when I look at my case. What happened?

This can happen when an officer "touches" your case, but it doesn't necessarily mean anything. In your USCIS account, you can check the Documents tab for something new, but you might not find anything. You might want to try again after a few hours or the next day. But in general, you can just file that email and not worry about it.
