File I-90 immediately. Keep your green card. If you get an RFE to return the 2 year green card, call USCIS, say "info pass", and request an I-551 stamp on your passport. At the stamping appointment expect to be required to return the green card. Then respond to the RFE with a letter stating the field office kept your green card, and include a photo copy of your stamp
