I got my GST certificate online recently. After five days, I got a call from GST inspector and as per him I need to submit hard copies of documents immediately otherwise he will cancel my GST. Is it correct?

Nowadays GST dept is verifying the newly registered persons data to assure these are genuine persons. You can submit the hard copies of documents to them, for assisting them in their duty.
