I got IRS 810 frozen code. What does it mean?

The 810 code indicates that something on your tax return looks suspicious to the fraud detection algorithm. Your return will eventually be reviewed by a human employee; I have no idea what the current timeframe is for that, but it could easily be six months or longer.

It's highly recommended that you review your tax return for any errors. If there was a mistake then it's usually faster to amend the return. One example is someone went to a bogus tax preparer who added a credit the taxpayer wasn't eligible for; they were able to send a signed statement to IRS to remove that credit so they could get the correct refund amount.
