How to get Commision Agent Licence from the Agricultural Marketing Department in Karnataka?






Name of the Department: Agricultural Marketing Department.

Name of the Service: Commission Agent Licence.

Whom to approach for this service (Designated Officer)?:  Secretary, Agricultural produce Market.

Procedure involved to get this service: Submission of application in prescribed format to the concerned APMC Secretary.

Who are eligible to get this service:  Any person or firm interested in doing trading of notified agricultural commodities in the market yard

Documents to be enclosed with the request:

1 .  Application to be submitted in form no.41 of karnataka agricultural produce market (development and regulation)rules 1968.

2 .  Licence fee dd of rs.2000 drawn in favour of secretary apmc and dd of rs.1200 drawn in favour of secretary apmc towards subscription of krishi pete magazine to be enclose

3 . Bank guarantee of rs.1500 in favour of secretary apmc to be enclosed

4 . Licence agreement on stamp paper bearing face value rs.100 to be enclosed.

5 . Rental agreement/ownership documents along with recent encumbrance certificate of the business place to be enclosed.

6 . Copy of the vat registration certificate to be enclosed.

7 . Three recent passport size photographs of the applicant to be enclosed. in case of partnership firm 03 recent passport size photographs of each of the partners to be enclosed.

8 . Any one of the documents such as driving licence/voter id/ration card/aadhar card/passport about permanent residential address to be enclosed.

9 .  In case of partnership firm and a company, a partnership deed registered at registrar of firms and memorandum of article/in case of proprietorship firm an affidavit regarding the registration of firm to be enclosed respectively.

10 . If the applicant obtained business premises from the market committee on rental basis in the market yard, no objection certificate issued by market committee to be enclosed/if the applicant obtained business premises from others, rental agreement to be enclosed.

Maximum number of days to wait to get this service delivered: 60 Working Days.

Whom to approach as an appeal (Competent Officer), if the service is not delivered in time or rejected by an officer: Agricultural Produce Market Committee.

Maximum number of days to wait to get the decision of the Competent Officer: 30 Working Days.

Whom to approach as 2nd appeal (Appellate Authority), if the decision of the Competent officer is not acceptable or not implemented?: Director, Department of Agricultural Marketing.

Maximum no. of days to wait to get the decision of Appellate Authority: 30 Working Days.
