1950 ന് ശേഷം ഈ സംസ്ഥാനത്തേക്ക് കുടിയേറി താമസിച്ച പട്ടിക ജാതി/ പട്ടിക ഗോത്ര വർഗ്ഗ സമുദായത്തിൽപെട്ടവർക്ക് അവരുടെ സമുദായം ഈ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ  പട്ടിക ജാതി/ പട്ടിക ഗോത്ര വർഗ്ഗ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ ഉൾപെടുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ പോലും ഈ സംസ്ഥാനത്തു നിന്നും പട്ടിക ജാതി/ പട്ടിക ഗോത്ര വർഗ്ഗ ആനുകൂല്യത്തിന് അർഹത ലഭിക്കുകയില്ല. (റവന്യൂ വകുപ്പിന്റെ 2021 ലെ റവന്യൂ ഗൈഡ് പേജ് 264 കാണുക). ലൈഫ് പദ്ധതിയിൽ ജനറൽ, SC വിഭാഗക്കാരുടെ അർഹത മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങൾക്ക് വ്യത്യാസം ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാൽ വീട് ലഭിക്കുന്നതിന് ജാതി ഒരു തടസമായി വരുന്നില്ല.
