നൂറിലേറെ രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഡ്രൈവിങ് ലൈസന്‍സുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് നിയമവിധേയമായി വാഹനം ഓടിക്കാം ! എങ്ങനെയെന്നല്ലേ? അതിനുവേണ്ടത് ഇന്റര്‍നാഷണല്‍ ഡ്രൈവിങ് പെര്‍മിറ്റ് (ഐ.ഡി.പി) ആണ്.

കാഴ്ചയിലൊരു പാസ്പോര്‍ട്ടിന്റെ പകിട്ടുണ്ട് ഇന്റര്‍നാഷണല്‍ ഡ്രൈവിങ് പെര്‍മിറ്റിന്. ലൈസന്‍സ് ഉടമയുടെ ഫോട്ടോ അടക്കമുള്ള പ്രധാന വിവരങ്ങളെല്ലാം ഇതില്‍ ഇംഗ്ലീഷില്‍ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കും. ഒരു വര്‍ഷമാണ് ഐ.ഡി.പിയുടെ കാലാവധി.

സാധുതയുള്ള ഡ്രൈവിങ് ലൈസന്‍സുള്ള ഇന്ത്യന്‍ പൌരന്മാര്‍ക്ക് ഐ.ഡി.പിയ്ക്ക് അപേക്ഷിക്കാം. അതാതു ജില്ലയിലെ ആര്‍ടിഒയ്ക്കാണ് അപേക്ഷ സമര്‍പ്പിക്കേണ്ടത്. അപേക്ഷകന്‍ സന്ദര്‍ശിക്കാന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന രാജ്യങ്ങളും അവിടെ താമസിക്കുന്ന കാലയളവും അടക്കമുള്ള വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ഐ.ഡി.പി അപേക്ഷയ്ക്കൊപ്പം നല്‍കണം.

ഹാജരാക്കേണ്ട രേഖകള്‍

  • പൂരിപ്പിച്ച ഫോം 4 എ
  • ഫോം 1 എ- മെഡിക്കല്‍ സര്‍ട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ്
  • സാധുതയുള്ള ഡ്രൈവിങ് ലൈസന്‍സും അതിന്റെ രണ്ടു കോപ്പികളും
  • പാസ്‌പോര്‍ട്ട് സൈസ് ഫോട്ടോ-മൂന്നെണ്ണം
  • പാസ്പോര്‍ട്ടിന്റെ അറ്റസ്റ്റഡ് കോപ്പി
  • വിസ, വിമാന ടിക്കറ്റ് എന്നിവയുടെ പകര്‍പ്പുകള്‍.
  • 700 രൂപ ഫീസ് അടച്ചതിന്റെ രസീത്.

ലൈസന്‍സ് തപാലില്‍ ലഭിക്കാന്‍ നിശ്ചിത സ്റ്റാംപ് ഒട്ടിച്ച കവറും അപേക്ഷയ്‌ക്കൊപ്പം നല്‍കണം.
