സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഉത്തരവ് (സാധാ).നം. 540/2019/ത.സ്വ.ഭ.വ. തീയതി:06/03/2019 അനുസരിച്ച് നഗര സഭകളിലെ വസ്തുനികുതി പരിഷ്ക്കരണത്തിന്റെ പ്രബല്യ തീയതി 01/04/2016 ആണ്. അതനുസരിച്ച് പത്തനംതിട്ട നഗരസഭയും വസ്തുനികുതി പരിഷക്കരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. 5 വര്‍ഷം കഴിഞ്ഞ സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ പ്രസ്തുത വസ്തു നികുതി 01/04/2023 പ്രാബല്യത്തില്‍ പുതുക്കുന്നതിന് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഉത്തരവ് (കൈ).നം. 77/2023/ത.സ്വ.ഭ.വ. തീയതി:22/03/2023 പ്രകാരം എല്ലാ തദ്ദേശ ഭരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ക്കും നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
