If the vehicle Insurance policy has Personal Accident coverage and driver is owner of the vehicle and has valid license, he gets compensation in the event of death. The pillion will get the coverage as Third party in the event of an accidental injury or death. For that no need of any other coverage. If the driver is not the owner and in no way he gets any compensation unless there is any other third party vehicle involvement in the accident.
