BSK is a single window service centre established by the West Bengal State Government to provide various government services through an online portal free of cost to people at the grassroots level. It bridges the digital divide and provides multiple government services from under one roof nearer home.

The BSKs are located in the offices of District Magistrates, Sub-divisional officers, Block Development Officers, Health centres, Urban Local Bodies, Government aided libraries, and office of the SI of schools.

How do the BSKs work?

BSKs are single window service centres where all notified government services can be availed online without visiting various government offices. A citizen can come to the nearest BSK centre and avail any government service as notified from time to time. The DEO assists the citizen to provide required service through the online portal and/or provide required information, as the case may be.

As of now, the BSKs provide 260 services. Some of the important services include application for Swasthya Sathi card, Digital Ration Card, Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, Kanyashree, Aikyashree, etc.

The services are provided online by the Data Entry Operators (DEOs) of BSKs through an integrated web portal (https://bsk.wb.gov.in).

Data Entry Operators (DEOs) are in charge of dispensing services to the citizens at the BSK kiosk. There are two DEOs at every BSK.

BSK Timings

The timings of the BSK centres are from Mondays to Saturdays (10:00 AM to 05:00 PM.)

BSK Fees

There is no service charge for availing government services through BSKs. It is completely free of cost.

Yes, you can apply again to avail the said service even if the application gets rejected after verifying the reasons for rejection.
