It might be a problem. To be on the safer side, you can get your wife's name updated in the Aadhaar card. To update the name in Aadhaar, you need the following documents.

  • Gazette notification for the name change

  • Marriage certificate with photograph

  • Certificate of Identity having photo issued by Gazetted Officer or Tehsildar on letterhead
