You might have received a digitally approved certificate from eDistrict with “Validity unknown” written on top of it with a yellow question mark. Follow the below steps to get a digitally signed certificate.
- Open the document in Abobe Reader
- Right-click on the signature portion; you can view “Show signature properties” Click on that option.
- Click on "Show Signer's Certificate"
- Click on "Trust"
- Click on "Add to Trusted Certificates"
- Click on "OK"
- Click on "Certified Documents". Select the option for "Dynamic Content", "Embedded high privilege Javascript", "Privileged system operations (networking, printing, file access)."
- Click on "OK"
- Click on "OK"
- Click on "Validate Signature"
- Now you can see the Green Tick mark validating your certificate
Note: Based on the different versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader, the name of the options might vary.
