Madhur Gud Yojana intends to overcome the deficiency of Vitamin C and Iron among the people of Chhattisgarh and there by eradicating Malnutrition and Anemia in children and women. Under Madhur Gud Yojana scheme, more than 6,59,000 poor families of Bastar division will be benefited. Every year nearly INR 50 crore will be spent on distribution of jaggery for this scheme.
