The Aadhaar Paperless Offline e-KYC eliminates the need for you to provide a photocopy of your Aadhaar letter; instead, you can download the KYC XML and provide it to service providers who require your KYC details. Aadhaar Paperless Offline e-KYC is a safe and shareable document that can be used for offline identity verification by an Aadhaar holder. All KYC data are encoded in machine-readable XML and digitally signed by the UIDAI authority, allowing service providers to verify their authenticity and detect any tampering. Authentication may also be done by service providers.

Advantages of Offline Aadhaar eKYC

  • Your Aadhaar number is kept private and only a reference ID is posted.

  • You can share KYC data without the involvement or knowledge of UIDAI.

  • This authentication does not necessitate the use of biometrics such as fingerprints or iris scans.

  • You have a choice of information or data from among the demographics and photos that must be provided.

  • KYC data is encoded with the phrase you provide, allowing you to maintain control over your information.

  • The UIDAI substantiates the XML file, which is a tamper-proof document, and it is signed electronically, adding to the protection of the data being shared.
