Following are the features of an OPC (One Person Company):

  • An OPC must operate under a legally registered name, and whenever the company's name is mentioned, the term "One Person Company" must be used.
  • If the client is unable to complete the contract or agreement, the OPC Memorandum must include a form that designates a person (other than the customer) who will become an OPC member with prior written authorization.
  • It is not permissible for a nomination for an organization's/memorandum firm to be a nominee for multiple corporations also.
