Dear 

PNB Super Saver is a good plan keeping in mind various options available but each rider has a cost .

Yes 

  1. Premium paid is covered under section 80 C 
  2. Proceeds are tax free under section 10(10) D
  3. Premium paid for Critical illness rider can get you rebate in section 80 D but in that case only the base premium should be claimed under section 80 C and PNB must issue a separate receipt for critical illness rider and mention that premium is eligible for section 80 D .

It is a good plan but do not confuse it with mediclaim or health insurance .
