My brother in law is using our residential property as a godown. He says he has consent letter from my mom in law who is the owner of the property. He has GST number also for the said property. Can a residential property be used as godown if you have GST number ?

  I have taken a table space outside a shop on rent. I run a small food stall on daily basis. What legal docs requires in GST certificate? I have electricity bill with the name of owner on it. Don't have any rent agreement as it was done verbally.
