There is full exemption of stamp duty for the instrument executed by farmers, in favor of commercial/co-operative banks, societies or other recognized financial institutions to obtain any amount of loan. But there is no concession of the registration fee if they are to be registered instead of sending under Sec.89 of the Registration Act or under Karnataka Agricultural Credit Operations and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1974.
